Characterization and evaluation of JH-2 Model for silicon carbide armor ceramics
Supervisor: Assoc Prof. Dr. Buğra Çiçek
Silicon carbide (SiC) has established itself as a key material in the field of armor ceramics due to its outstanding properties, including high hardness, low density, and excellent resistance to wear and impact [1]. In this study, we delve into the detailed characterization and evaluation of Model JH-2, a specific formulation of silicon carbide armor ceramics [2]. The results obtained from this research can inform further optimizations and advancements in the development of SiC-based armor ceramics.
